The Maf Roda Group unveils a new, more intuitive and flexible software for cherries

The new cherry quality software for Cherryscan G7 aims to significantly ease the day-to-day operations for workers. It features a much more simplified, intuitive interface with new functionalities that allow the operator to interact with the machine in a much friendlier way, without any measurable impact on the system's precision.

The company has launched this new software with the specific needs of cherry producers in mind. It is fully adapted to their production model, marked by very short campaigns and much workforce rotation. The new interface is making the handling of quality systems more accessible by greatly simplifying the way the operator interacts with the machine.

One of its great advantages is the ability to make any and all adjustments from a single screen. Being able to visually see all the parameters and functionalities at a glance saves time for the operator, who can quickly visualize the status of the production and the expected results.

Another new functionality is the possibility of increasing or reducing the sensitivity in the detection of each of the defects simply by clicking a plus or minus sign. More advanced users can also access more parameters, allowing for greater customization of the system. Thus, the software adapts to the operator's knowledge level.

To provide even more security and autonomy, the single screen displays estimates of the impact that any changes made by the operator will have on the machine's results. This preview of the impact allows the operator to play with different options and correctly adjust the settings before their definite implementation in production.

This software is a further step in the democratization of quality system management. The simplification of the interface makes operating the machine much more user-friendly. With this new interface, an operator can work with the machine after just a few hours of training.

Maf Roda says that they are currently offering a solution with unique advantages. "We have a patented system that rotates the cherry transversely and makes it possible to analyze 100% of the cherry's surface, including the apical zone. This, together with the quality system and this new intuitive and easy-to-use software, is allowing us to offer a very powerful solution that we believe brings an unprecedented qualitative leap."
