From April 6 to 15, Primorye, Russia received a total of 6,658.5 tons of fresh vegetables and fruits from various countries, as reported by the press service of the Federal Service Rosselkhoznadzor.
"During the reporting period, 5,738.6 tons of fruit and vegetable products arrived in the region from China, including 1,639.6 tons of fresh fruits and berries," the statement said.
Additionally, within the week, Primorye received 400.2 tons of bananas from Ecuador, 251.9 tons of oranges, pears, and grapes from the Republic of Korea, 146.9 tons of oranges from Egypt, 81.6 tons of mandarins from Pakistan, 38.1 tons of grapes from India, and 1.2 tons of exotic fruits from Vietnam.
All pre-quarantine products have been cleared for import by inspectors from the Primorsky interregional office of Rosselkhoznadzor following quarantine phytosanitary control.
